Another time we shall shine,
Another day we'll share,
A thought once forgotten,
Of a memory we held so dear;


Now in the present,
We are apart,
Miles away in a smaller world,
Two lovers with a broken heart;


One day we shall see,
That faith is more than we'd thought,
A bigger picture was drawn,
And larger war was fought;


We today shall surrender,
For tomorrow will bring,
An emotional war will conclude,
And victory or surrender but a broken heart will ...
